English Willow Baskets have been in existence for centuries and after leaving school, I joined my late Father in the Family Business. With Dad's never ending patience and guidance, I became proficient in the traditional style of willow baskets, made for the home and garden and made to last.
The techniques are unchanged and I have returned to this craft after a twenty year break in a very different career. I started making again from July 9th 2020 and surprisingly remembering all the techniques from years ago.
Countryworld Baskets is based in the most easterly town of England, Lowestoft, and I use only the best Willow for both my own designs and for traditional basket designs.
